Community invited to submit designs for Downtown Trick or Treat bags

AUBURN, Ala.- The City of Auburn invites community members ages 0-12 to participate in a festive contest for this year’s Downtown Trick or Treat event! This year’s event flyer will double as a coloring sheet, and we want your colored design to be featured on the official paper trick-or-treat bags distributed at the event.

Participants are encouraged to color the flyer creatively and submit their finished design for a chance to win a Halloween prize basket and have their artwork printed on hundreds of candy bags handed out during the event.

How to Enter:

  1. Pick up a coloring sheet at any Parks and Recreation facility or download it from auburnal.gov/downtown-trick-or-treat.
  2. Color it in using any medium — crayons, markers, colored pencils, etc.
  3. Submit your completed design by turning it in at the Harris Center or Lake Wilmore Recreation Center, or email it to mtoohey@auburnal.gov.
  4. Include your name, age and contact information.

Deadline to Submit: All entries must be received by Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025.

Winner Announcement: The winning design will be announced on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, and will be featured on the official Downtown Trick or Treat candy bags!
